DISCOVERING LINUX: bWOLVIX/b

Xubuntu and Ubuntu 8.04 LTS — Day 3 - CLICK

I used it more often than not in Slackware and always in bWolvix/b. And with all the tools that Ubuntu keeps across all of its companion distros (including Kubuntu and Xubuntu), running Xfce isn't all that different than running GNOME. b.../b

Xubuntu 8.04 LTS — Day 1 - CLICK

I do tend to think that any distro runs better with its "main" window manager, be it KDE (Slackware), GNOME (Debian) or Xfce (bWolvix/b/ZenWalk/Vector). Of course I'm ready at this point to be proven wrong. November 12, 2008 1:49 PM b.../b

I started to have problems with Xubuntu around 7.04 and pretty much turned to Debian, Slackware and bWolvix/b for my Xfce use, but so far it's nice to be back in Xfce with Xubuntu 8.04. I've written many times before about how I don't see b.../b

Mandriva is also on the table, as is one of my favorite distros, bWolvix/b. The Slackware 11-based bWolvix/b is due for a new version soon. While its package mix addresses most of my issues, there are a few things that I can't easily find for b.../b

What I#39;m running right now - CLICK

It's a 3 GB drive, and besides the OpenBSD installation, I wanted to have Linux swap and a smallish ext2 filesystem on which to store the save files for Puppy, Damn Small Linux and bWolvix/b. So I ended up with a /usr partition on the b.../b
